It has a larger filtration element and greater effective filtration area compared with similar sized and priced cartridge filters. So it is an ideal choice for most demanding applications and environmental conditions. This filter can be used for both above-ground and in-ground swimming pools. It has an 120 square feet effective filtration area and 110 gpm design flow rate. It features a coreless cartridge for easy cleaning. It also has large 2 inlet and outlet which reduces water flow restriction. 50psi maximum working pressure. Comes with union fitting for easy removal. This high performance 1 hp in-ground pool pump is quiet, efficient and self priming. Its corrosion proof polymer construction will deliver years of reliable service. The transparent lid and large comfortable handle allows for quick inspection of strainer. The strainer includes large, easy to clean basket. The suction and discharge ports are threaded for 1 1/2" fittings and provide excellent water flow to keep your pool water crystal clear. The pump has a convenient drain plug for easy winter maintenance. This 115 volts pump comes with a 6 foot three-prong power cord. It's designed and manufactured to meet all csa and etl requirements. The system includes a compact base to mount both the cartridge filter and pump. A deluxe hose with union connectors between pump and filter is also supplied.
